  3. Washing Process:

    • Use a small amount of mild detergent.
    • For machine washing, select the cold water setting and gentle cycle to minimize any potential damage.
    • If hand washing, gently agitate the fabric in cold water.

  4. Drying:

    • After washing, hang the bed covers and blankets to dry. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or high heat sources, as this may cause colour fading or shrinkage.
    • Ensure proper ventilation to aid in the drying process.

  5. Bleach-Free:

    • Do not use bleach or any products containing bleach, as this can damage the fabric and affect its appearance and functionality.

Memory Foam Care Instructions (OrthoRug Beds)

To maintain the cleanliness and quality of the memory foam used in OrthoRug beds, please follow the care instructions provided below:

  1. Freshening:

    • The memory foam is not machine washable. Instead, use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to gently remove any surface dust or debris. This will help keep the foam fresh and clean.

  2. Stain Removal:

In the event of stains on the memory foam, follow these steps:

  • a. Dampen a clean cloth with warm water.
  • b. Add a small amount of mild dishwashing liquid or soap to the cloth.
  • c. Gently rub the stained area of the memory foam with the damp cloth using light motions. Avoid excessive scrubbing, as it may damage the foam.
  • d. Allow the soapy solution to sit on the stain for approximately 15 minutes to help break down the stain.
  • e. Afterward, press out as much moisture as possible from the foam using a clean, dry cloth. It is important not to wring or twist the foam, as this may cause damage.
  • f. Leave the memory foam in a well-ventilated area to air dry completely. Avoid direct exposure to heat or sunlight during the drying process.
